Haimbio, a high tech R&D bio firm, awarded for Cancer Energy Metabolism-based Therapy (CEMBT's) by Korean National Assembly

Haimbio (Ph. D. Hong Yeoul Kim, CEO), a research and development bio firm has recently received the Award by the head of Health and Welfare Committee in Korean National Assembly and the 3rd Global Power Brand Award.

Starvanip® has a rather unique and universal technology platform oriented for new paradigm of anti-cancer drug.  This differentiates from existing anti-cancer drugs by the effects; i.e., — inhibiting the generation of Cancer Energy source, so inducing the apoptosis, the death of cancer cell.  In doing so, this is anticipated to dramatically improve the side effects such as damaging normal cell and to further reduce toxicity accompanied by existing anti-cancer therapies.  Last but not the least, the firm insists to augment the low rate of curing and to target wider range of cancer types.

With the tests on not only animals but also patient derived cells and organoid, the pre-clinical efficacy and safety have been secured.  In duration of this pre-clinical phase, the firm has tested and confirmed the significant efficacy by combined use of Starvanip® with the conventional anti-cancer drugs for the indications of 12 different types of cancer, including GBM, pancreatic cancer, non-small cell cancer, and etc.

Beginning from early Dec. of 2019, the firm has Starvanip® at the stage of Clinical Trial Phase 1 in Korea which is targeted exclusively on 40 + patients who have failed the conventional anti-cancer therapies.  Simultaneously, the firm is in the preparation of pre-IND scheduled early part of 2020 and Clinical Trial Phase 2 in USA to be filed later part of this year.  Ultimately, the firm is aiming at Orphan Disease Designation (ODD) which will make the path to the conditional sales of Starvanip® after the completion of Clinical Trial Phase 2 in USA.

According to the data provided by Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, domestic rice farming machinization rate is 97.9%. Compared to this, plot farming machinization rate ended up just upto 58.3%. Among them, machinization of seeding and operation 8.9%, harvesting on 23.9%.

The government plans to increase plot machinization rate upto 75% by 2022 using 4000 hundred million. To catch up with the plan, BULLS focused on seeding and harvesting related agricultural machine investigation and development. This year Rural Developlement Administration(RDA) appointed 3 models of powered seeding machine and 2 models of underground plant harvester as New Technology Agriculture Machine(NET), acknowledging BULLS’ fine quality and technology. ‘Fabulous’ scenery spreading under the feet

Lotte World’s Seoul Sky Co., Ltd. won the 2017 Global Power Brand Award(GPBA) and the Award of “Yoo Sung-yeop, the Chairman of the Education, Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee at the National Assembly”. Seoul Sky is the observatory facility located on the top floor of 123-story, 555m-high Lotte World Tower. To enjoy the observatory facilities, take the double deck elevator sky shuttle from the entry level. A double deck elevator is a type in which two elevators are operated vertically. The Sky Shuttle that operating at a speed of 600m at a section of 496m(from the second basement to the 121st floors), has a name on the Guinness World Record for the following two items: the longest traffic distance and the fastest double deck elevator. If you go up to the 500-meter-high viewing floor, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Seoul, the capital of Korea, at a glance. On sunny days, the visibility reaches up to 40 km, allowing visitors to see Songdo and the West Sea of Incheon. The Skydeck, located on the 118th floor (478m above the ground), offers a different view. It is designed to walk on clear glass floors and feels like walking on the sky. It was listed on Guinness World Records as the highest glass floor observatory. At Sky Terrace on the 120th floor, you can enjoy a different pleasure by enjoying the scenery of the outdoors rather than seeing the panorama through the window. If you feel hungry, you can go to the 123rd floor, the top of the observatory: “123 lounge”, the premium lounge is available. The 123 lounge operates as a café during the afternoon offering teas and desserts, and transforms into a lounge offering wine and beer in the evening when the sun sets over the sky. It can also be used for corporate events and wedding ceremonies. Seoul Sky will keep the number of visitors at an appropriate level in order to maintain a safe and pleasant viewing environment. In addition, an airport-level security check is underway to enhance security. Security guards and CCTVs are installed throughout the observatory to ensure safe outings.
